ABOUT ME Hi, my name is Sara. I am a multigenerational Mainer. I have a bachelor’s degree in fine arts, and a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling. I received a color analysis consultation in 2023. It was an absolute revelation to see for myself how warm colors lit up my face! It absolutely changed my life. I have been obsessed with it, and studying it, ever since. After 2 years of training and practicing seasonal color analysis with two different mentors and two different official trainings, I am finally ready to bring the wonders of personal color analysis to Portland, Maine. I want EVERYONE to have a chance to find their own “hidden gem” colors that bring out their best. ABOUT COLOR ANALYSIS : Personal color analysis shows you the colors that bring out the best in your skin’s coloring in the most completely natural way. Without concealer, foundation, bronzer or blush, your skin will look clear, glowing and healthy just by the natural effect of wearing the right colors. Once you learn your “season”, ie your best colors, AND how to identify the qualities of your best colors, you will have this knowledge for life. Though you might adjust which of your best colors you prefer to wear as your age or as your hair color changes naturally, your best colors and your color “season” will never change. This is an investment that will last a lifetime. In addition, all of your seasonal, best colors coordinate with each other! Any clothing or accessories you buy within your season will go with anything else you have bought in your seasonal colors. This makes shopping, getting dressed, and designing a wardrobe efficient, easy and fun! You can enjoy wearing colors AND be practical at the same time. SERVICES: I offer 16 season, in-person color analysis in my studio in Portland, Maine. Sliding scale pricing, as well as payment plan options are available so everyone can have a chance to learn their best colors! ( I do not offer virtual or on-line consults at this time; I have found it does not always offer the most accurate results.) In addition to your initial color analysis, you’re welcome to come back for follow-up appointments to help secure your knowledge, answer more in depth questions you may have have, or for help picking out colors for certain events or putting together a wardrobe. PREPARATION for your appointment: After securing your appointment you’ll receive an email with the following instructions: arrive with no make-up and bring a hair tie to hold your hair back. If you dye your hair we will cover it with a white scarf during the first part of the consult. Bring some photos of your self from childhood and early adulthood, showing your natural hair and skin coloring. Also, please bring some examples of your favorite colors to wear or just colors you enjoy in general.
